The greatest part of the people on Earth finds itself in deep ignorance

Even those people who suppose that they know something of the present time, and who are therefore in impatient expectation of changes, stand entirely aside from all true knowledge

And precisely because such is the state among men, nothing is known here of the Ray of Parzival, just as nothing is known of the effects of its working above mankind and also within mankind

Yet there is here a great multitude of happenings of small and of great kind, in which there shows itself quite distinctly the influence of the radiation coming into this universe from a starting-point which lies but a little way above this gross matter

Thereby is not meant only the happening which men observe in nature and in the changes of climate of the continents, but here there is meant above all the penetration of everything new that concerns spiritual enlightenment

Precisely this, in comparison with the other manifestations, may be reckoned among the effects of the radiation of the Ray of Parzival

Today there comes very much that is new out of the knowledge bound up with that promise, that in the deepest darkness of mankind there shall shine forth the pledge of the dawn of the knowledge of the Truth in all the directions of the ignorance enduring until that time

The uncovering of the pall of human spiritual unconsciousness takes place thereby every day, and always by a great measure in the direction of enlightenment

Men are not aware of it, for they do not look forward, and keep their gaze turned lastingly back into the past

They seek ways out of the cares that surround them in experiences long since faded away, instead of striding courageously forward and letting wholly new paths be discovered

Men for the greatest part are stuck fast in the past, and out of it they seek to form the starting-point for all that is to come

Yet this must of necessity fail, and in all directions it does fail

What was held to be proved and reliable decades ago, or even but a few years ago, can today no longer help as it once did

The threads of the weavers move ever forward, and do not wait for human conceptions and plans

The determining mark for all leadership is no longer rough force, but the maturity and the nobility of the spirit

According to these conditions all is woven by the wise Alphar, so that it may soon become an inseparable part of human understanding

The world is changing in every respect

Therefore it is in place to approach the happening in a wholly new manner, through the openness of the inner being

For many people, however, this is but very little tried and proved

Already small children are taught to live in dissimulation, to deceive those around them, and thereby to hold firmly in their hands their intellectual aims

To learn to lie and to maintain false attitudes outwardly has become so ingrained a habit that a great part of mankind no longer even knows what sincere openness of the inner being is, freed from all stratagems and calculations

It has therefore become for the greater number something incomprehensible when there is speech of the need for openness of the inner being

The openness of the inner being is the voice of conscience

This voice is feared by an all too great multitude upon Earth, for therein they sense the end of their own unnatural manner of life, which is thus upheld with all their strength

Those, however, who have courageous volition enough, and in whom there lives the free and unbound intuitive perceiving of the spirit through conscience, may already today draw from the source of the great knowledge destined for all the coming generations that are yet to come upon Earth

This inexhaustible source is the Ray of Parzival

It stands near at hand and is the lasting starting-point of the Truth in the Subsequent Creation for this time of changes

The Ray of Parzival is accessible to everyone who, in the pure attunement needed for the tearing down of all dogmas, and in the irradiating of himself with childlike inquisitiveness, ascends upwards to those places where the connection is possible

Only there is that enlightenment to be found which, already before the coming of the great changes, may flow down piece by piece into the materialities, in which everything moves only very slowly, like a resin that grows ever colder and stiffer

Although the greater number of men are closed to such an inner condition, there are ever more of those whose inner being is lighting up and thereby grows strong enough to attain what for the greater number is still an impossible happening – the connection with the Ray of Parzival

In truth it holds good that to no one is this connection denied

Here there are no privileges and no exceptions

Every man, even he who but yesterday was the very last, may tomorrow, or perhaps even already today, in proportion to his purity and the fervour of his inner being, attain the connection with the refreshing stream of knowledge which pours in everywhere where in man the ground is prepared for a new manner of living

Herein, however, lies that further difficulty

It is a difficulty because for the connection with Parzival the condition is the complete acceptance of the fact that everything must be new

And this is precisely the greatest obstacle for the settled human thinking

The new is not merely a cleansing of the old, as is often wrongly supposed

It is not a mending of the existing ordering of the world, but a wholly new section of the development of human living upon Earth

Even though in the cleansing of the old there lies for the spirit a connecting path upwards, and the ground within his inner being may thereby ripen, it is not that new ordering of which there is so often speech as of the condition for the receiving of the new

And that new lies precisely in the knowledge of the creative power resting in the human spirit

This creative power is used by no one in the right manner, as it ought already for a certain span of earthly time to have been

Everything old in this is therefore to be laid aside, so that room may be made for the new

By the old, however, there is not meant only that which is of material origin, but it is first of all the attunement out of which men form their thoughts and their deeds

The attunement is to become a wholly peace-filled manner of approach to the whole of life, and therewith also to other men

Trust in the Justice of God is to become the support for all action

Through everything there is to penetrate the trust in the victory of the Light

The victory of the Light

That is the new which needs to become the cornerstone of all further approach to life

An unshakeable trust in the Light, which will in the end assert itself in all life upon Earth

It may be said that precisely that connecting bridge to the Ray of Parzival is in man the unswerving trust in the victory of the Light

In union with purity and maturity in the inner being of man, it is the trust in the victory of the Light which makes possible the receiving of many helps and inspirations for the creating and the forming of the new out of the source of the Ray of Parzival

In this attunement every such man may then receive radiation of a high forming kind, in which is contained everything needful for the weaving of the weavers in the bringing of a new world to the Earth

Only few are permitted therein to become aware that it is precisely the lack of courage which is denied to the spirit through the brain-mind concentrating only upon the narrow band of the present, and projecting into it only the pictures of experiences from past times of earthly life, which, however, in their form and kind of vibration can by their very nature no longer be effective for the further development of the happening

Courageous thinking needs to be in accord with the new map, which is formed out of the higher survey of a lofty knowledge of the Laws of Creation

The experiences coming out of the past of the dark times of Lucifer's working upon Earth have for the present development the worth of remaining husks, in which there cling only tiny drying particles of the original living content, which belonged to the time in whose stage-settings everything took place

Out of it there may be gained what is precious in those parts which are directly joined with the Light

The rest is the result of the inert action of men, who for the great part lacked the needful knowledge

The repeated turning of one's gaze to the past brings today only agitation, and thereby a weakening which takes from man the courage to receive all that is new

Together with the lack of courage there are lost also the precious forces which would otherwise bear the spiritual radiation in man high upwards, that it might join with the refreshing stream of the Light which whirls mightily around the Ray of Parzival, that in fulfilment bends down towards the gross materiality

Out of this stream of radiation the Alphar form many happenings which lie immediately above the Earth

The connection of every further man with these kinds of threads, through the trust in the victory of the Light, may bring wholly decisive changes in the shortening of the time that is needed for changes in their immediate effect upon gross matter

All this rests in the hands of men

They can, through themselves, through their trust in the Light, move many events in a wholly miraculous manner, in that with their trustfulness in thoughts they smooth the paths for all that is new upon Earth

And this will also come to pass

Already now there are with every day many newly awakened spirits who join themselves in their attunement to the Circles of the Calm, and through this their joining vibrate in accord with the coming of the changes contained in the threads of the weavers

It is already taking place, and it increases gradually, always by a small measure every day

At the same time, however, hand in hand with this there draw near the far-reaching consequences which, literally in the overflowing fullness of their creative pressure, bear down to men the knowledge of many connections concerning life, of which but a short time ago there could not be even the slightest speech

In the overflowing bundles of radiation there are, above men who are inwardly open, luminous threads which, like guiding rails, stand ready to bring new discoveries in all the directions of human striving, in which there slumbers the ascent and the development promised to the great spiritual enlightenment

The threads are of spiritual and also of animistic kind

They contain prospects as yet unseen today, promised for the future peace-filled life of men upon Earth

To those who are permitted to perceive at least a little of their content, the world of today appears beside them as a grey place of mournfulness, born out of human unfulfilment

And it is precisely the Circles of the Calm that can be those first rocks, irradiated by the Light, for the taking hold of all who long for prospects of hope in the direction of that which is to come

In the Circles of the Calm it may soon live with an active life, in which, like a life-giving spring, there will be offered to those who come the knowledge in which every purely open man will be permitted to find his own path

It is to ring out like the clear pealing of bells, which proclaim that to every one of men it is possible to live in a pure and righteous manner of life

Where in the inner being of man the spiritual intuitive perception and the conscience awaken, there it goes forward with enormous progress

The old falls away almost of itself, together with the growing strength, in the inner being of the newly awakened, of the trust in the victory of the Light

The trust of the quickened spirits is nourished by the radiation of the Ray of Parzival

Therewith comes the change which is in the end destined in every respect for the whole world

We may behold it in many places where unrest grows into a ferment which threatens the destruction of the last remnants of the healthy human perception of life, whereby of necessity the greatest part of the present action of men sets itself, seemingly self-assured, against the Harmony that proceeds from the workings of the Laws of Creation

But that is only on the surface

Beneath the din of all the visible unloveliness of misrule and of the volition to the frenzy of war there lies only the uncertainty of the overgrown intellect, which fears the end of its hitherto privileged position

In the threads of the weavers there is already appointed the end for all the aberrations of men whose spiritual intuitive perceiving is heavily suppressed by materialistic lowness

It will come unexpectedly, as a fall sliding down step by step of the whole hitherto existing ordering of the old, crafty world of the intellect

The change draws nearer with every day

And hand in hand with all the upheavals there goes the inflowing of the new, which penetrates into all parts of the world of thought

In this inflowing there is contained the upbuilding of all the foundations of a new society

It is, together with ripe wisdom, precisely kindliness and gentleness that are the mark of the true spiritual radiation of man

This radiation is the condition for the upbuilding

At the same time it is courage and the highest liveliness of the spirit which keep everything in man in the wakeful state of his intuitive perceiving

Courage holds good not for battle, but for the receiving of the changes which are now coming and which demand of man the highest mobility in a thinking that today has become too schematic and too superficial

It is a complete transformation of the world of thought, which comes as the consequence of the working of the strengthening radiance of the Ray of Parzival above this Earth

And as was mentioned above, the true strength rests in the nobility of the inner being, not in the outward form of the bodily and intellectual capacities of man, which until now men acknowledged as marks of leadership, but in the demonstrable forms of genuine humanity joined with a vibrating in unison within the Laws of Creation, and this even in the very finest manifestations of the effects of their working

Proofs of capacities of this kind need to be furnished again and again every day

Therein lies the proving of the connection with the Light for him who longs to help his fellow men by strengthening them on the path to the spiritual home

Therein, however, there fall to him gifts of an almost incomprehensible kind of enlightenment, for his striving for all that is spiritually ripe and noble raises him automatically into the nearness of the Ray of Parzival, out of which he may draw with full hands the gifts of the highest knowledge of the work of Creation

If only there could be as many such people as possible in the shortest possible time

Thereby there would be set flowing the enthusiasm of men for all that is spiritual, and this in a manner such as has never yet been brought to bear here

And yet all this is possible

It waits for the coming of those who are courageous within themselves, and who, together with a pure childlike inquisitiveness, have an inner being open for the receiving of high inspirations out of the Light

The great spiritual enlightenment draws nearer to the Earth

Men, however, can and also should go forth to meet it with the openness of their inner being

In the moment when this becomes the possession of a certain number of inwardly living men, the radiation of the Ray of Parzival will show itself in consequences hitherto unknown

It will come in many partial changes throughout the whole happening upon Earth

Also through the appearing of connections penetrating into all the directions of human knowledge, of which men today have not even the slightest inkling

The knowledge will reach into all parts of the present human thinking, be it knowledge of the universe or knowledge of the true capacities through which the human spirit in the earthly body may work upon his surroundings in the invincible power of a creative volition vibrating in unison with the Harmony of the work of Creation

Everything, however, is born out of a complete childlikeness in the approach to the new

Childlikeness in the approach to the new is again further conditioned by a genuine purity in the trust in all that is in the end made possible, out of the workings of the All-Wisdom of God, to the spiritual inhabitants in all parts of the work of Creation

And there is much, very much, that still slumbers unused in the human spirit, and that should long since have been brought to readiness for co-operation in the making luminous of the most distant places of the Subsequent Creation

The upsurging of all knowledge, which can now well up in man as a thankful glorifying of the Holy God, is the right direction on the path to the fulfilment of the exalted task of the human spirit in these parts of the materialities

The preparation for the approaching Festival of the Grail, when through the inflowing of the Purity of God into Creation all that strives towards the Light is strengthened with primordial power, is the best path to a lasting connection with the Ray of Parzival for the many people who long for it

Let it therefore be made use of in the best manner of experiencing every moment of the coming days, hours and minutes
