Privacy

This is a purely informational site: it uses no cookies, no analytics or advertising tools, and contains no forms. Apart from the server logs described below, no personal data is collected, and none is passed on to third parties.

When you visit the site, the web server (hosted by Alwyzon, Vienna, Austria) automatically records technical access data in its server logs: IP address, date and time, page requested, referring page and browser identification. These logs are deleted automatically after about two weeks.

The logs serve the security of the site and error diagnosis. In addition, the operator uses them to count visits: the log entries are evaluated on his own computer and deleted immediately afterwards. Only totals are kept – how many visitors came per day, how often each page was viewed and from which websites (for example a search engine or Facebook) visitors arrived. No IP addresses are stored, and no profiles of individual visitors are created.

On the page “The Grail”, your browser remembers whether you have closed the welcome box. This note stays on your device and is never transmitted to the server.

Legal basis: the legitimate interest in the secure operation of the site and in knowing how it is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Responsible: Markus Greuter, Wiesengasse 8, 6020 Innsbruck, Austria — cestagralu.translation@gmail.com. You have the right to request information about your personal data, as well as its correction or deletion, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – in Austria, the Datenschutzbehörde (www.dsb.gv.at).
