The Connection With the Ray of Parzival

It may also be called the connection with the living radiation of the Truth of God in Creation

It is something extraordinary of its kind, yet at the same time also the most natural manifestation of the Laws of God in the work of Creation

It is the fulfilment of the grace-filled promise that God is attainable for all the inhabitants of the work of Creation

Parzival, as the bearer of a part of the unsubstantiate radiation from God, radiates into Creation and makes it possible for everyone who ardently longs for it to unite with him in a certain kind of radiation

The connection with him is possible through bridges of radiation

In spite of the suppositions of men that the connection with the Ray of Parzival is possible only for those chosen for it, such a thing is denied to none of the creatures

It thus holds also for those who are incarnated in an earthly body

On earth too it is made possible for men to come into the nearness of the radiation of Parzival and to be permitted to draw from him undreamt-of glorious treasures of recognition

Such a thing is indeed now made ready for many of those who at the present time are especially born on earth for this kind of connection, but who still need only to awaken in their inner being

Awakening in the inner being is the necessary foundation for the connection with the Light

This is because, for going forth to meet this living, light-giving connection, the condition on the part of the human spirits is the purest attunement in the inner being, bound up with the attaining of a certain degree of maturity

The purest attunement and maturity are the condition for the connection with Parzival

Both can become an acquired ability, provided, however, that the human spirit truly strives for such a thing with perseverance

It is not, however, a matter of one day, nor of a week or of one month

Nor can it merely be gathered from reading, nor learned by proceeding according to some set of instructions, as has until now been the custom among men when they wish to attain something here on earth

The kind of thinking hitherto acquired by men on earth stands in this, alas, rather as a hindrance, instead of human thinking being precisely a beneficial support to the spiritual inner being

Therefore an entirely new path needs to be trodden out

For so high a kind of connection it is first needful for the spirit to attain an inner radiance, which can then work as a bridge leading to that most highly living Light which flames forth from the Ray of Parzival into space in the universe

That living Light, flaming forth continually from Parzival, is in its radiance the happening of the release of paths for the lasting saturation of the Light-filled currents which conduct the Word of Truth to all the parts and planes of the work of Creation

The currents of the Light overflow unceasingly with the recognition of a wisdom of a high kind, out of which every creature can draw strengthening for the sublime service of God, and thus also the human spirits who by their striving swing themselves up on high towards this streaming recognition

Herein lies the connection with Parzival himself, which is made possible for all pure life

And this connection, in the human grasping of the radiation granted, is now needful so that the recognition of the Creator may blossom in many places, and thereby the enlightenment which is now to come may begin to be fulfilled

It will still be much work, for in the interpenetrating of this recognition in the inner being of man there are many hindrances which must first be dissolved by the power of the Light

The Light can enter the inner being of man directly through the ardent intuitive perception of a sublime longing for the recognition of the living Truth in the work of Creation

Yet already this comes up against the first hindrance, because this attunement requires that such a man bear within him the setting of an all-embracing striving for lasting consonance with the Light and the Harmony

It is a hindrance because the intuitive perception vibrating in the inner being is immediately surrounded in the intellect by thoughts, and these at once give it heaviness by directing themselves only upon small things in the earthly world

As small things may be regarded everything that gets stuck in the need of settling particulars, for instance the securing of food or of lodging, of earnings and of many other things which in the earthly setting of men branch out in endless directions, and also the cares of necessity bound up therewith

We can also add here thoughts that seem at first sight even lofty, such as concentration upon one's earthly health, the most varied fearing about the coming development of happening on earth, fear for those close to one, fear for the children, and much else besides, which does indeed belong to right thinking, but whenever the boundary of naturalness is overstepped in the direction of an overwrought concentration, then sooner or later the main stream of trust in the Light and the Harmony is diverted into side paths, in which the creative power of the thoughts at once loses in strength

So that the intuitive perception may remain in pure connection with the Light, a good help to this is to remain in the lasting maintaining of a simple acceptance of all that enters the life of man, in such a way that it becomes a reason for lasting hope and for a joyful fastening upon the goal, which in the work of Creation is solely the Victory of the Light

Herein lies the first step towards the liberation of the spirit, which is the condition for a close connection with the Light

The awareness that the Light will conquer is thus the most important fundamental support for human thinking in all that man does

This, however, never means a light-minded ridding of oneself of responsibility, but on the contrary it always leads only to the courage to conquer over everything honourably and nobly

Herein lies the secret of the high connection with the point of origin, with Parzival, because it is precisely He, as the bearer of the Will of God, who is the fulfiller of the Victory of the Light everywhere and in everything

Whoever unites inwardly with this kind of power can then more easily soar in flight above everything in his life, for he is then upheld by the strong connection formed with Parzival

It is, however, self-evident that with the present setting of the thinking of men this attunement will not hold at once at man's first attempt in such a way that it could then continue in him without cease as a thread no longer interrupted by anything

Many times yet will man, for all his striving, fall down again into the ballast of thoughts before he at last grasps the first recognition of the high power which leads him to the conviction that the Light will always conquer over everything and that he can therein be precisely on the side of the Light thanks to his striving for pure and harmonious acting in every moment of his life

Gradually, however, this will become for him an ever more experienced certainty, held fast as all his thoughts are irradiated by the all-embracing good welling forth from his spiritual inner being

This will subsequently awaken in the inner being all the spiritual powers of an unwonted kind of which he himself did not know until now, for these have so far only slept in him in weakness instead of being actively employed

All this will then burst forth in order to make whole his true personality, such as he always sought in all his endeavours to grasp the experience that here on earth he is, in every respect, in all his wishes and decisions, himself

And this will then move him still closer to the connection with the Light, and above all with the Ray of Parzival, which will show him the way

Pure trust in the victory of the Light is for man the victorious way in all that still lies before him

If man strives to be inwardly so receptive and understanding that precisely the Light sent forth by the Ray of Parzival can show him in advance, across the bridges of radiation, all that awaits him on his path through life, then his path is much clearer, of fuller value, and thereby also permeated with joy which awakens in him a new enthusiasm for doing good in helping his fellow-men

The bridges of radiation will yet be spoken of especially in the promised texts within the framework of the participation offered in the hundred days of transformation

Many men, although they have at hand the beneficent recognition from the work the Grail Message, are not able to free themselves from the loops of a persisting thinking acquired through upbringing, which grips the spiritual inner being so tightly that it does not permit the great spiritual abilities in man to assert themselves as the links with the said bridges of radiation, in which there lies for man the enabling of the connection with the Ray of Parzival, or, as has already been mentioned, with the lasting inflow of the living Truth into life here on earth

And this, however, is now to become the present for many men

Herein lies that promised enlightenment, for only enlightenment will bring that new thing which has until now not yet wholly entered the life of those men who otherwise bear within them in readiness all that is needful

As has already been written, the experiencing at this year's Festival of the inpouring of the Power of the Holy Spirit into the work of Creation became the best moment for the beginning of the striving to change everything that has lasted until now in the new flowing of power towards the awakening of the inner abilities, so that these may emerge to the place where they are meant to be, that is, above the former pall of intellectual heaviness in thinking

The husbanding of this power in the sense of using its refreshing lovingness is the best way of setting in motion one's own intuitive receptivity for harmony

From this there then unfolds the drawing near to the maintaining of inner balance, and thereby the working for other men as a precious place of support in the turbulent social life of today

Precisely out of this there can form an enlightenment visible from afar, to which the path always leads first through the transformation of individuals

The transformation lies in becoming aware of one's own capacity to have connection with the Light radiating from Parzival into Creation

And precisely the Ray of Parzival, extended right into the nearness of the earth, affords in this an exceptional help to the human spirits on earth, which is to be turned to account for the complete awakenedness of every spiritually alert man

The opportunity for transformation is already flowing, and it can be used at every moment of the day

It contains within it the possibility of a complete penetration into a higher understanding of the Truth in its living manifesting in all parts of human existence

Now it is only needful to rouse oneself to a manner of receptivity to things such as could not be until now, when man's earthly path was determined by his heavily shuffling thinking, acquired only from what was offered him by upbringing and surroundings

That, however, is too little for a true drawing near to the Truth, which in every respect permeates everything with a swiftness and a wise Justice which the hands of the animistic servants, the Vaenen and the Alphar, are indeed able to keep pace with in their weaving, but human comprehension stumbles far behind it, confirming how remote it is from the understanding of the Wise Greatness of God, which through Parzival rules over the whole work of Creation

Upward, then, to a new perceiving of all the moments of life

The Truth is omnipresent and manifests itself by the most wondrous paths of the woven threads, out of which there emerges at last into earthly life itself such happening as is to be a school and a help to all men

A new understanding of the connections is the condition for the coming of the promised enlightenment

Out of the enlightenment there are now to form findings which will become new rules for mankind, in like manner as it was millennia and centuries ago with all the discoveries of physical or astronomical laws

Through the life of man there stretch threads which of necessity lead his paths and determine what will come, so that by its manifestation it may direct him on his pilgrimage towards the spiritual home, which is in reality the only reason why he finds himself on his paths through Subsequent Creation

These threads can no longer remain unrecognised by earthly man of today, as it has until now been possible to observe everywhere

But under the strengthened inflow they can, through the livingness of the spiritual inner being, be more illumined and thereby made visible, and this precisely thanks to his connection with the Ray of Parzival

Thereby there will of necessity come an unwonted simplification in all that surrounds man

Suddenly he will see how everything is governed according to clear and supremely wise laws, in which until now, through his cramped tension and overstrain, or on the contrary through lukewarmness and heavy sleep of the spirit, he went astray, and thereby caused the necessity of the weaving of those threads which only delayed him on his path to the Light

Everyone can to a certain degree become a knower of the threads of his fate or even of the fate of other men, if by his inner maturity he attains to the degree at which new enlightenment can be added to him by the Ray of Parzival

Then everything will be accelerated, for thereby many men will ever more quickly lay aside all their pendants and trinkets which they have until now held to be precious and which in reality the Creator never required of them, for to Him the most precious are those who remain genuine and pure in their own kind, without needing to exalt themselves above others, or on the contrary to abase themselves before anyone

Pure is to be the striving of the man who now longs to find the connection with the Ray of Parzival

The bridges of radiation are open for this from the heights downward, and it only remains to wait until in this or that human spirit there forms the soil which makes possible the beneficent linking

Let every single day therefore be used so that through the openness of human inner beings ever more enlightenment may flow into this world

The greatness and bliss of this enlightenment men will at once feel in their inner being and outwardly upon themselves, and thereby they will recognise how poor they in reality were as regards the Fullness of Grace of God, compared with what will then be able to enter their life when with their intuitive perception they truly penetrate into the Light of the Truth
