Pictures From the Threads of the New Age On Earth

For many men, whose sight is not permitted to penetrate further into the finer threads of the weavers of fate, the greatest part of that which must of necessity come in the new age on earth is as yet inexorably hidden

The most blissful as well as the most menacing prospects still remain a part of the mystery of the universe, which hides the pictures of the future time from the knowledge of human recognition

From the fact that the greatest part of men see nothing of the future happening, it is generally concluded that all that still lies beyond the horizon of the coming times cannot be grasped in any way

The endeavours of men who describe the approaching time in various ways, whether by prophetic visions, by soothsaying or through astrology, only prove by their inadequate perceiving of the finer spheres how uncertain and untrustworthy an undertaking this is, in which they do not succeed in grasping even the very least of what is to come, still less in then rightly translating it into pictures of gross material manifestations

The reflections of most men of today about all that is probably approaching us therefore proceed today predominantly only from intellectual assumptions

These assumptions are of necessity founded upon experiences gained from past events which took place in one or another of the many stages of the history of the earth hitherto

Thus until now men have always drawn their conclusions about the future from the way in which the fates of men and of nations ran in the former courses of the setting of the universe

Yet herein lies the root of all the errors in the expectation of men as to what is now to come

This is because the courses in which the threads of fate stretch to the individual men, as also to the whole planet Earth, are already in an entirely new kind of setting

As an example we can observe this new setting of the courses in the changes of the climate

Already today it is possible to see how all the former folk wisdom in the foretelling of the seasons has shifted in an entirely different direction, and therefore almost nothing of what held good before corresponds any longer at all to the present time

We can even speak of a complete breaking of all the records hitherto of the manifestations of the weather, in the sense of how these have shown themselves until now over the individual parts of the earth

In foretelling the further development of the climate, therefore, one can no longer proceed from past times

Great changes are a part of the everyday life of men on all the continents

It may be said with certainty that as it is with the climate, so it is in exactly the same way with everything else

Wholly revolutionary changes are entering into all happening

Why men do not become aware of this, so as to join it together into a unified view requiring an entirely new approach on their part, remains a riddle

The answer lies in this, that it requires an entirely new approach on their part, of which men are for the time being largely not capable

Even individuals who otherwise reflect earnestly remain in this ever more outside the understanding of what is truly happening now

Therefore all endeavours at rightly foretelling the whole further development on earth must of necessity fail

Yes, as in every age, so today too, in this turning-time of the ages, there are at hand for questioning men many visionaries and prophets who claim that they are able to divine the right sequence of the coming happenings

Yet out of all that is put forward by these visionaries, only very few events turn out to be right

And therefore it will become still worse with all such predictions

This is for the reason that the said manner of foretelling, which we may call wrong, bears within it but very little accord with the courses of development of the present happening

Most men who try today to foretell anything proceed from judgments in which they go about it in the old way, which cannot bring a right consonance with reality

The fundamental condition therefore is that every man who strives to understand the connections of what is now coming should exert the endeavour for a pure and inwardly ardent connection with the threads woven out of a higher wisdom

In these threads is contained that which will truly come

The man who earnestly seeks answers to the questions of what is now to come must therefore approach everything entirely anew

It has also already been spoken of several times on the Way of the Grail that most of the men of today who occupy themselves with the future of mankind on earth do not take into account with the needful earnestness such a thing as the coming direct working of the Will of God also in the visible world of men itself

That is something which may be regarded as a very difficult task for present-day human thinking

Men today generally regard those who believe in the Creator and in the Will of God as simple-minded individuals who do not fit into the scientifically advanced time of today

This approach alone must, in relation to the future time, separate off the greatest part of all the material, scientifically formed expectations and add them to that part of the expectations which will never be fulfilled

Intellectual notions are altogether erroneous in their calculations and measurements

Thus in any foretelling of the future time we can set science wholly aside, if we wish to draw near to a true recognition of what is now to come upon earth

This is because science, in its conceit and in its volition to know everything best, stands wholly opposed to such a thing as the humble acceptance of the Will of God as the determining power for all happening

The science of today, with all that belongs to it, stands at the very head of the multitude which resists and refuses to accept such a thing as the determining might of the Will of God

This is because scientists suppose that their knowledge stands high above the simple-minded understanding of the men of former times, whom they regard as intellectually weak, for their scientific intellect tells them that they know everything better

They do not suspect in this that the ones who are behind are precisely they themselves

Scientists altogether will be the very last part of the human race on earth to accept the omnipresence of the power of God above them

In all this there is at the same time also manifested that great sifting of men on earth

Among those who try to foretell what will come we thus have here chiefly intellectual materialists, also many common liars, dreamers and fantasists, but also fanatics and religious zealots

However much these men may appear at first sight to be a motley company, they all alike proceed in their judgments about the future time only from that which may be called the past

Past is everything which has just passed through the time of the present

In reality it even holds that the present is in its essence the past

This is because the present is the manifested, unfolded blossom of the power which beforehand was for some time gathered in the bud

So it is also in the case of the work of the weavers of the threads of fate in Creation

The weavers lead the threads out of the fine, that is, out of that which for man still lies in the future and is only being made ready to burst into bloom in the present

That which takes place in the present here on earth is for the Alphar, the weavers of the threads, something already past, for through their hands run new threads woven of new substance delivered to them by the Vaenen

Today this continually running happening is moreover permeated by the working power of the near Ray of Parzival

That is the new thing which men do not reckon with

The presence of the Ray of Parzival as the bearer of the Will of God wholly changes the effectiveness of everything hitherto to which men have until now been accustomed

It may therefore be said that those men who proceed from the past in order to deduce the future stand, already by the very nature of the new changes, wholly aside from all the probable expectations of the days of tomorrow

Besides those mentioned above, there are thus here still also men who assert before others that they believe purely and peaceably in God and His Will

But alas, even the few of those who reckon in their reflections with such a thing as the Will of God proceed predominantly only from such expectations into which, often even unconsciously, yet nonetheless repeatedly and stubbornly, they weave their own will

Men who acknowledge the Creator do not, for all their strenuous assertions, proceed from His Will as such, but only from notions of the kind of how, precisely according to them, that Will of God ought to work over mankind so that their wishes might come to be fulfilled

Everyone who earnestly occupies himself with the future should strive to free himself wholly from his own notions and wishes, for through these there always of necessity comes about an influencing of the pictures by one's own wishes

This holds not only for all believers, but also for those who claim that they are pure channels for the receiving of pictures and that they are capable of complete impersonality in their predictions of anything future

Whoever foretells anything should within himself be truly capable of complete freedom from his own judgments, and in a wholly objective approach should receive only that which comes to him as a pure stream from the heights

Above all such a man should cleanse himself of the expectation of triumph at the fulfilment of his predictions

Alas, but few are capable of such a thing

Men who foretell future happening as a rule concentrate strongly upon their own personal share in the outcome of what is foretold

To these belong not only astrologers, visionaries and men who write prophetically about their own feelings and impressions, in which they expect that at last something great will one day come which will confirm their own worth in the eyes of other men, but to these belong also all the fanatics who try to sweep like-minded crowds over to their side

If we strictly set aside all the above-mentioned errors of men, there then remains only a very small group of those in whom it is possible to seek something deeper and more genuine

Alas, even most of those earnestly striving men are also not able to distinguish their own notions from a truly more clairvoyant view into the future time

That great task of men who have the abilities to foresee the coming happening here on earth is now lacking, and it will be here again only after a certain time, when men suited to it by their abilities have ripened for it

Only then will that prophetic ability of certain persons return again, and above all it will be largely in inwardly pure women

That man may form an idea of it, it is that temple service which held good among ancient peoples and by its nature required a complete opening of oneself to the receiving of high pictures from the Light, which required not only the highest degree of purity but also a certain separateness from the outer earthly world

Purity and impersonality are a great condition for right receiving

The inner maturity of the receiving person is also always an important part here

In connection with the foretelling of the future, therefore, it is almost always a matter, with the receiving men, of a limited degree of understanding, reflecting their own boundary in the understanding of all that they picture to themselves under the coming manifesting of the Will of God on earth

Out of such pictures many blunders have already arisen, which in the result lead other men only to an ever greater rejection of such a thing as the working of the Will of God upon this world

Hence it may be said that all the expectations of men hitherto in the shaping of pictures of the future do not proceed from right foundations, as it rightly ought to be

Besides the men who believe purely and simply in the Creator, there of course belong here also a good many of those who regard themselves as knowers of the Truth, and this on the ground that the work In the Light of Truth has come to them

Alas, these men too have already caused no small spiritual and earthly harm by their notions spread among other men

Among those who are seeking it has brought much disappointment and also harm hard to undo, for in connection with the describing of all that is to be bound up with God and His Will, they come as a rule only with threats and fear, as with that which alone can come from God to the men of today

Such a thing, however, is untruth

Whether this untruth is passed on out of immaturity and ignorance, or perhaps even spread knowingly, it always causes much harm to the opening of men to the true recognition of the Creator and His Will

The Light in the new happening brings above all liberation and enlightenment for no small part of mankind, and it is thereby the promise of an ascent of mankind such as has never yet been here

When men today speak of God and His Will in the work of Creation, then in the overwhelming majority of their outlooks the notions of future pictures in reality rest only upon a narrowed human deduction from a partial recognition of the Creator, wherein, as a rule according to the judgment of men, He must see to the carrying out of all their notions and wishes concerning Justice in the condemnation of all those men whom they are not able to accept, and thereby to acknowledge that they too belong to this earthly world, the school of learning of the human spirit

Nowhere is heed paid to the promise of the words “Vengeance is mine, recompense is mine!”

Even into these mighty words of the promise of the Justice of God men bring far too much that is personal, which bears witness only to their own maturity, which thus shows itself to be very insufficient

It leads to expectations which are then spread as the Truth, although these expectations are only a product of the thought-notions of men and were never drawn from the all-determining Will of God contained in the work In the Light of Truth

Alas, many men picture to themselves the working of God here on earth only in a very over-simplified way, and this in the expectation that that Will of God will direct itself first of all according to their notions of what is and what is not right

One could say that there is in this a portion of wilful childishness

Whatever height they have swung themselves up to in their personal understanding of the Creator and His work of Creation, that they try to apply as the all-crowning view of the whole world

Therefore the greatest part of all views towards the future bears within it notions which cannot come and which for the greatest part will not even be fulfilled, for they cannot be fulfilled

This too has already many times shown itself to be the most painful point in men who otherwise wish to serve the Light with the greatest earnestness

The very first fundamental deviation from the Will of God is often the expectation that gross matter will all at once make possible all those happenings which are pictorially linked with the fulfilment of the judgment upon the human spirit, but which by their requirements do not correspond to the present density of matter, and thus cannot come about because of its narrowed measure of permeability to the Light

Many happenings which are destined only for an ethereal settlement are expected by men at the same time also immediately here on earth

Although every day there come ever stronger inflows of Light from the Ray of Parzival, yet all that is called forth thereby goes forward only gradually, for every excessive acceleration would lead to destruction

The Will of God, however, always knows only building up, and so all the animistic servants proceed in accord with this great command of God

The fulfilling of the happenings contained in the threads of the Alphar goes forward with such speed as is at all possible, so that the earthly world may come into ever higher degrees of livingness, thanks to which matter can then again be more permeated by a further inflow of Light, so that immediately following upon this further happenings contained in the threads may again come in turn, requiring a still higher living permeability of gross materiality

Thus it goes forward from day to day ever more, so that one may speak of the coming of the great time of the enlightenment of mankind

Of course everything could go forward far more quickly if a sufficient number of men cooperated in all this in their volition and in their thoughts

Also in their visible acting in everyday life

An all-embracing volition for good in the pure attunement of every single human inner being works in this with an unimaginably accelerating effect

This is because earthly man, through his bodily constitution, forms a point of intersection for the powers of the Light through all the degrees of the planes from the spiritual down to the uttermost earthly

For this, however, it is needful that the spiritual inner being should have ripened so far that man will not succumb to his own reflections in those cases where a higher overview is required

And it is precisely a higher, riper overview that is still lacking here on earth among men

With maturity there is always inseparably bound up not only the ability of pure intuitive sensing, but also the inner freeing of oneself from the personal in man, so that then there may come the understanding of that which is higher above man himself

Freeing oneself from the personal means the ability to forgive and also the maintaining of a just kindliness towards all men

Only then can there form in the inner being and in the thinking of man such a soil upon which true wisdom may draw near, which in turn forms the connection with the radiation of the Truth

The Truth is at the present time present nearest to the earth in the Ray of Parzival, which is thus the mediator for everyone who dwells in an earthly body and longs for enlightenment

And the Truth will also permeate ever more all the events on earth, for such is the command of Parzival to all the Alphar who weave the present events of the human world

Thus it will sooner or later come to light that the Light distinguishes two fundamental currents of volition in human striving

The first is the genuine ardent striving of a spiritual kind, that is, all that is purely permeated by human intuitive perception

The second is the material volition empty of intuition, which, however cleverly it may show itself outwardly in society, bears within it only a calculating manner of asserting oneself and one's own view of the world here on earth

Thus throughout the whole human world on earth there will stand here side by side only two kinds of volition

The one will be bound up with the radiation of blessing, while the other will be pursued by the Light until it has altogether vanished from all human doings

It is therefore something wholly secondary for man to occupy himself with outward manifestations and also with particulars, to which there of necessity also belongs all outward judging of public political life, for here too that sifting radiation of Parzival passes right across everything

Men need not rack their brains in the least over what is and what is not right according to outward events, but it always suffices to lay against the given happening or the unfolding events the measure which divides everything into two sharply separated paths, of which the one will remain and will vibrate in its development under the inflow of the blessing of God, and the other will gradually be removed from this earth by the weavers of the threads

And these weavers, patient beyond the comprehension of men and admirably skilful, always have ready for every thing, every event and for every man threads which follow his further path in the work of Creation down to the last particle

In their weaving there is the answer to everything, and everyone who but wishes to see a little can already now foretell in the threads the development of all happening

Not perhaps in particulars, although even that would be possible under the fulfilment of certain conditions, but the foretelling of the further development on earth can be recognised in the overall ordering of the threads

Many human questions as to what will be and how vibrate quite distinctly in the said threads, into which ever more power is now streaming from the Ray of Parzival, which of necessity brings a developmental acceleration of events, and this too shows itself ever more today

And it will go still further, both in matters of the migration of nations and of the reduction of the number of men on earth, and also in the passing away of empires still great today, or, as it is said, of great states, which even today would not in the least expect that what is to come will cause upheavals and the subsequent breaking up into small particles of new human communities

This holds for the whole world and not only for those countries of which men in their understanding suppose that they are going wrong ways and must fall

Everything will be different, and all countries will be affected, just as at the same time also all individual men

It will go, however, along wholly natural paths, which are precisely today overlooked by men, because to many a human fancy, in its expectation of the coming happenings, they appear by their gradualness all too ordinary

Many fantasists point to this precisely today by their predictions, which they have already been putting before other men for whole years, and thereby they seek to gain attention even at the cost of continually arousing anxiety and fear

By fear they try to keep their listeners and readers in a state of need for further tidings

Many prophets of today in their predictions frighten precisely all those who strive always to act purely and justly in their life

Thus those men who ought to be strengthened in going rightly are not seldom only made uncertain within themselves, because the picture of a possible coming destruction of all who live here is forced upon them

There is, however, no need at all to disquiet such men, for it is precisely for them that all this is done by the Light, it is precisely to them that the future world belongs, provided that they do not waver and in the great division of mankind do not at the very last moment still cross over from the one side to the other

Already today we can say that everything will be woven in a manner of which present-day mankind has not even a partial inkling, for it has not taken into its reflections as a reality precisely the working of the Will of God on earth through the strengthening Ray of Parzival

And this power of an unprecedented kind is already working in full upon all that will bring the new ordering of life on this earth

The Light strengthens everyone who strives to live a truly pure manner of life and who at the same time has lastingly before him a high goal of a spiritual kind

Every such man can go forward with calm confidence, for in all the changes which will come in order to lead the present world over socially into a new world filled with enlightenment, he can find only the confirmation of his trust in God and His omnipresently working wise Will

By the taking of the sacred spear of God from Lucifer, an entirely new setting of all the paths of the human spirits was brought into effect in the wheelwork of the Laws of Creation

After the full completion of the purifying interventions of the animistic servants in the ethereal worlds of the present darkness, a counterweight will also at last be created in Creation, and this in that at the very lowest edge of Subsequent Creation an ethereal castle will be built, in which it will be granted to spirits of an especially strong knightly origin, called thereto, to dwell on guard, each time for a certain period

Thus in the far distances which until now ended in places where only the despairing wrecks of fallen spiritual personalities dwelt, everything will in the purification be built anew into places upon which the Power of God too will be permitted to stream in a measure never yet seen

When this happening comes about, the danger of disintegration will almost wholly cease to threaten the human spirit-germs, for the time will come when from above down to below everything will be held firmly in the hands of Parzival as the sole ruler of the work of Creation with all its parts, given for ever and for all eternity

The spear in his hand will strengthen every spiritual spark in its development in such a way that it will then never be able to sink down to the degree at which it would be threatened by that which has now, alas, become a danger for whole multitudes of those souls which fell asleep inwardly, or which in submitting to the principle of Lucifer turned wholly in the opposite direction in their volition and became participants in the practising of all temptations towards other souls

A human spiritual spark would then truly have to set itself in a desperate fall against Life and the Light in order, in spite of the said new setting, to fall into the millstones which work up the substance of all that is material

And from these happenings it is possible already now to deduce all that will come upon this earth as the necessary consequence of all the preceding animistic and ethereal threads which will form out of it for the gross material world

Revolutionary will be the coming time of enlightenment on earth, however much will arrive in naturalness as an urge suddenly called forth in men to begin occupying themselves with something wholly new and at the same time suddenly to detach themselves from something hitherto lasting

We are passing through a period of great crystallisation and reshaping of the world of men

All that has been until now will gradually be re-formed into the new

Whatever does not withstand the inflow of the Light in its present state will be broken up, crumbled and divided

It may thus be said that everything human that is wrongly set or is maintained in cramped rigidity will by the pressure of the power streaming in the threads of the Alphar be brought at last to the new

Many men will yet recognise this at the last moment and will sense inwardly the need of their own spiritual awakening

All that is already happening around us works towards the awakening of millions of human spirits

The rest will gradually be washed away, so that after the following two or three generations this world will be purified beyond recognition, however wholly impossible this may now appear

Yet after all the forces of the still existing darkness have spent themselves upon one another, everything will go forward ever more quickly

Therefore no one who strives purely towards the Light should needlessly fear that which he observes with his eyes as the happening of the present

It is only a necessary part of the purifying work of the animistic servants, who weave into the threads of men the necessity that all false volition should by some path meet with other false volition, and that in this collision there should come about in the experiencing either the possibility of laying aside faults, or, in the other case, the end of the path then draws near for such men as do not in the experiencing awaken to a purer kind of life

It is exactly the same as with the change of the climate already mentioned above

The climate still is, but it changes in such a way that what held good before no longer holds

In the human world too it may be said that the world flows ever onward, but what now manifests in it are the effects of Laws which until now held good here in another setting of power and speed of manifestation

Many men are not yet able to see this, and therefore they suppose that the world of men is still going along the same courses

But that is an erroneous observation

There is need of a more inwardly wakeful observation, and suddenly it will stand out clearly and distinctly before the sight of man

It is only a matter of living practice in the perceiving of the finer manifestations contained in everything, so that everyone may become spiritually more receptive in this

Then man will himself be able more easily to deduce for himself the effects of the Laws of Creation in all things, and to a certain degree he will become one who rightly foretells the consequences for all kinds of human acting

He will then not need other men in order to recognise in everything ever more rightly and surely the glorious working of the all-penetrating Will of God
