All the good on earth is the result of the working of the great unified Law in the work of Creation
This Law is that Harmony which in reality is the Will of God, so often sought by men
The Will of God is the natural bearer of Harmony, and at the same time Harmony, manifesting itself in all places in the work of Creation, is thus precisely the necessary Lawful result of the omnipresent working of the Will of God
In God, in His primordial essence of unsubstantiality, of which nothing created has any inkling, everything abides in a perfect balance overflowing with power
Precisely therein lies that ungraspable unsubstantiality of God, which we may thus picture to ourselves as the enduring of an eternally living movement of the white radiation of Harmony
The Divine power of God the Father is the point of departure of the primordially eternal Harmony
Thus He, God the Father, is present in this unsubstantiate Harmony with His Divinity as the primordially eternal source of Life
For everything that is found in the work of Creation, precisely that power and glow of the unsubstantiate Divine radiation is something in which the created cannot maintain its consciousness, for in the unsubstantiality of God the Father there is contained in principle an infinitely inexhaustible diversity, out of which, if God the Father shall so will it, further new Creations can illimitably arise again and again, which will be different from the preceding ones, and yet these will again contain within themselves perfect Harmony as their foundation
The work of Creation in which we find ourselves is therefore only an insignificant partial particle formed out of the diversity contained in the unsubstantiate Divine radiation
In this picture lies the basis for an at least partially possible understanding of what the unsubstantiate perfection of God means
Inexhaustibility, perfection, boundlessness, holiness
The white glow contains within itself all that surpasses the ability of created life fully to comprehend the content of the concept of perfection, in which illimitability is united with the inexhaustibility of forms which begin to take shape at once when they step out of the unsubstantiate radiation, whereby there comes about a partial cooling of the original white Light of God
And thus out of this primordially eternal power, which is precisely an inseparable part of the perfect Harmony proceeding from the unsubstantiate nature of God, at the sounding of the words “Let there be Light” there came into being the work of Creation of which we are a part
“Let there be Light” were not words such as earthly man knows them, but a deed out of the divinely unsubstantiate
They were thus in themselves creative words containing everything that gave rise to the life of the basic forms in the work of Creation
“Let there be Light” meant that the Life lastingly glowing in the Divine unsubstantiality stepped out beyond the bounds of the realm of God and formed the forms of the present work of Creation for the further unfolding of the life contained in the glow, which could arise with a greater cooling at a distance from the primordial origin of Light and Life
All this is contained in the creative power of the Will of God, which we may call the Will welling up out of the perfect Harmony of God the Father Himself in His unsubstantiate nature
The work of Creation arose out of the Harmony which is a part of God the Father, and it is thus inseparable also from His Will
If therefore anyone speaks of the Will of God, of its fulfilment anywhere in the work of Creation, there is contained therein nothing other than the direction striving to attain the all-embracing Harmony, which wholly pervades everything that has formed itself into life as a part of the work of Creation
Harmony thus lastingly pervades everything that is in Creation
Its all-embracingness surpasses absolutely everything, including the life and the development of human spirits
Only few men have as yet occupied themselves with this
Nevertheless it is so
And because the working of the Will of God of necessity penetrates also to the earth, here too we therefore find a pressure which directs all creatures, unconsciously as well as consciously, to a lasting seeking and attaining of Harmony in all forms and happenings
In the happening of nature all this is embraced in the laws of nature, which can never bring anything other than that under all circumstances they hasten to shape accord among all the powers and energies streaming through matter
In the materialities this work is in the charge of precisely all the animistic servants, whom we may call the outermost offshoots of the Will of God working through Valhalla into all the degrees of Subsequent Creation
Also among the actual life of the unconsciously as well as consciously animistic kind, thus also among the plants and all independent creatures, the law of Harmony works with unswerving pressure towards maintaining balance, and thereby towards bringing lasting healing for all life
And lastly, among men too this law works in exactly the same way as in all the other parts of the worlds
If this escapes men, it is not the fault of the great omnipresent Law, but it is solely and only the guilt of men themselves that they have not yet rightly observed it
Therefore it holds lawfully that in consciously uniting with Harmony there always lies success and victory for all the doing of men
Harmony and accord, which in its living movement is the promise of development, is the way to the recognising and fulfilling of the Will of God by the individual man as well as by mankind as a whole
Man is to learn to devote himself wholly to working together, wherever he may be, in accord with this Harmony which is contained in everything around him
That is also why men are on this earth, that they may acquire this and accept it as their own, for it is a necessary part of their development
It should long ago have been something known on earth, and it should also have been instilled as the most natural foundation of all knowledge in all who are born on this earth
Because of its own voluntarily chosen lukewarmness in intuitive perceiving and in reflecting, mankind has hitherto not been able to recognise this and to use it for its own ascent and for the well-being of all life
They could long ago have found in it support and a hidden power of an unprecedented kind, had they occupied themselves with it
It would be solely and only a fulfilling of the Will of God if men were to fit themselves into the vibrations of the great law of unified Harmony
In this law lies an unrecognised power, whose beneficent nature has the origin of its efficacy in this, that it forms for all life the direct connection with the source of the powers in the work of Creation, that is, the connection with the Grail
The influx of Harmony flowing into the work of Creation for its lasting maintenance and strengthening has its abode in the halls of the Grail
Therefore it may be said that in those halls nothing else dwells but only the Will of God, and that in the strongest radiance which the work of Creation can bear at the place of its beginning
This is because the mighty Light in these primordial planes permits nothing other than a lasting vibrating in unison within the Will of God, thus permits the beings abiding there nothing other than to remain in complete, highest consonance with Harmony
Parzival is in this vibrating the highest example for all creatures in Creation
Just as it is in the Grail, so we find it in the individual planes of the whole work of Creation
Thus at last on this earth too we may speak of an ideal of life which will always, albeit at a certain distance, be derived from the exemplary life of the Grail itself, and which could long ago have dwelt here among men as the result of their purest endeavour to fulfil complete consonance with Harmony
For a spiritually enlightened mankind the fulfilling of Harmony lies in following the example descending to the earth from the heights of the Grail as an eternal inspiration, which bears within it the foundation for the further blessed development of all life on earth
And this foundation vibrates among men as a sensed way out of all sorrows and pains
It is that figurative seeking of the Holy Grail on earth
This seeking has also lived among men from time immemorial as the echo of an ancient promise
That it is something inseparably bound up with the good and with the purest virtues in the inner being of men, this was sensed by precisely all those who earnestly sought this Holy Grail
The good need only come alive in the greatest possible number of men on earth, so that pure accord may be created among them mutually in daily life, and thereby the way will be discovered which leads to the power resting in the Grail at the summit of the work of Creation
If anyone wishes to strive for this connection, he needs to give full passage within himself to the purest that is in him
Whoever longs to live in accord with the Will of God needs only to find within himself the abilities to carry harmony in his inner being and at the same time also to live it visibly with other men
There is nothing difficult in this, for everything in the work of Creation is so set that through the omnipresent great Law of Harmony the exercise of good is easier than that of evil
This holds wholly also for the earthly world here
It is often said that the neutral power of God flows lastingly through Creation for use by the free will of man
At first glance, therefore, this working of the power of God in Creation appears as a streaming that permeates all space freely, and thus entirely without any intentional influencing of human spirits
The power enables man to live and to form his volition in free will, which his spiritual spark makes possible for him
But here there holds something further, which is of necessity connected with this power
Because the power provided for use comes by its origin from the Divine Source, it always bears within it, as its fundamental trait, a simple strengthening impulse towards Harmony
This holds in spite of its neutrality
It must be so, for otherwise one could not speak of the power of God
The power streaming into Creation through the Grail never denies its origin in the Divine point of departure
Nor can it be otherwise in any way, for this lies in its beginning, out of which it springs in the divinely unsubstantiate situated on high, which is the foundation for all life, thus for Creation as well as for the Grail itself
However much we therefore call it a neutral power, it always bears within it, as a fundamental trait in its use, the strengthening impulse towards Harmony
It always bears within it a self-acting beneficent vibration which from its very foundation directs all life towards Harmony
All life in the planes of Light also uses this fully for its endeavour to co-shape harmony with the whole of the work of Creation
For earthly men too there is contained therein the same strengthening impulse to use the power only in a harmonious way
The human spirit therefore has everything made incomprehensibly easy for it in deciding at every moment for the good
Because there is given to him for all his striving a power which already bears within it the essence of the beneficent creating of Harmony, everything is thus placed into his hands for use in a strikingly loving way
Although it always holds that solely and only the free decision of man determines for what purpose the power shall be directed by him himself, the power nevertheless always bears within it an increased share of vibration furthering the creation of that which is good
So it is with all creatures in the work of Creation
In nature we can see this in its hastening to seek the balance of all life, which is present in everything and also in the end always proves itself, even though nature may perhaps be temporarily thrown out of its balance precisely by the intervention of men
In the end it will again attain full balance, even if men should perhaps destroy nine parts of it out of ten and wholly throw off its original balance and diversity
Even if it should take millennia, in the result nature, under the influence of the animistic, which is fully guided by the law of Harmony and thus by the law of balance, will again fully find its original powers and abilities
In its way the actual earthly body of man is also exposed to the same kind of influence, and if therefore it is not exposed over a long time to an arbitrary volition of a wrong kind on the part of human volition, which is subject to manifold confused influences, healing can always come about, provided the simple influence of the unconsciously animistic, which is a part of every earthly human body, is left in calm
By this recognition the new earthly care of health should also be guided, if it truly longs to help men in their illnesses and not merely to gain for itself a source of earnings in the illnesses of their neighbours
Everything is in a certain respect exposed to the working of that beneficent harmonious, and thereby healing, vibration which is inseparable from the streaming of the power of God through Creation
Men can recognise this, if indeed they wish to recognise it
In reality this means that placing of oneself into the Will of God
The Harmony contained therein can lead every individual man in his decisions, for a part of it is always literally wholly in his hands
It could each time direct man only in the right direction, if he did not resist its strengthening with his self-willed intellectual volition, which often goes against this great Harmony
The power would of itself lead him freely and joyfully upwards to the home
It would be exactly as Jesus preached of it when in a parable He spoke of the ability to move mountains, which is connected with this, that the human spirit through its trust places itself wholly into the arms of God, thus enters wholly into accord with the great Harmony of God
Man has it in the result unbelievably easy if in his own volition he unites with the kind of radiation which is sent to him from God as the life-giving neutral power
This is no furthering of weakness, nor any ingratiating of the power of God with man, but there works therein the very essence of Harmony, which always more directly furthers everything homogeneous, thus all that strives for the good
The Light will after all always further the light blazing in the inner being of the spark of the human spirit
The magnetic attraction working in the power of God therefore always furthers the good in man more strongly than evil
Everyone could long ago have intuitively perceived that in himself too more joyful and fulfilling happiness comes alive if in his decision he inclines to right action, thus when he inclines to the Light and to the Good
It is that rare vibrancy of something higher which leads to the experiencing of sublimity and benevolence in man, if he fits himself into the vibrations of benevolent being
And that is the strengthening quality and also the refreshing wondrousness of the power of God, if it is used by man for the good, and thereby for vibrating in unison with Harmony in the space of the work of Creation
Man, as in himself a spiritual creature, is at that moment connected with the whole of the Universe, and there may also penetrate to him through this power a vibration from the ray of Light which once sprang forth from the very unsubstantiality of God
Through this power, which he has used for the good, man is then connected in a closer kind of radiation with God the Father
This state is something especially uplifting for everyone who is permitted to perceive it intuitively within himself, if only for a moment
It is that mystery of the nearness of God bending down to man
This nearness of God always comes only through the doing of good
And this happening is not something unattainable for man
It is even nearer to him than he himself thinks, for it flows to him at every moment of the day and he is connected with it, if he uses the power from the Light given to him for the doing of good
He is in fact lastingly surrounded by reinforcements which direct him to an acting that bears within it the connection with the great Harmony
As soon as man in his decision uses good volition for thoughts or for deeds, everything around him is always ready to support him in the direction of a good result
Perhaps everyone has already been permitted to experience this in a moment when he could almost touch the omnipresence of greatness and sublimity, if he decided in such a way that in the end he acted in the sense of the good
It is then precisely that strengthening power of Harmony out of the divinely unsubstantiate radiation which conveys to him the experience of sensing the nearness of God at the moment of deciding for any action whose foundation is an ardent volition of a good kind
So it is in the case of every man
No one is excepted from it, from no one is this refreshing strengthening quality of Harmony, which is contained in the power provided for life, curtailed by even a single part of its beneficence
Every man can clearly perceive and intuitively sense this at every moment
He is carried forward automatically by the powers in Creation if the strongest thing in him is the volition for the good
And conversely it demands from him each time a greater share of his own defiant power if in his volition he nevertheless decides wrongly, or in other words if he strives to push through evil intentions
This is because his volition at that moment goes against the current of all right development
Nor is he thereby in reality in any way stronger in himself, as might perhaps appear to superficial consideration,
If, in spite of the Harmony working around him, man in his free will longs for evil, his spirit consumes therein ever more of its own life-power, which in the long run leads to weakening and exhaustion, or even perhaps to complete self-destruction
For deciding for evil he always needs, moreover, not only to suppress his conscience and his intuitive perception within himself, but he needs in a certain respect to go against the essence of the radiation of harmony which is contained in the neutral power of God, which the wrongly striving man at that moment needs for the doing of evil
That is something which must work only against man's own spiritual nature, which at the beginning of its development arose to awareness in the joyful longing one day to have a full-valued and lasting share in the bliss of Harmony in the work of Creation
The man who thus strives for evil works not only against the essence of all life in the work of Creation, but must even go ever more consciously against the harmonious foundation of the aforementioned neutral power of God, which he nevertheless needs for the forming of all that, proceeding from him himself, goes against the essence of the Good itself
All this simply speaks of the fact that striving towards the fulfilment of the Will of God, thus towards consonance with Harmony in the work of Creation, is for every creature easier and more strengthened than working against this Will of God
This holds also for every man
It always bears within it for him a closer connection with the Point of Origin, thus with the all-overcoming essence of the originating power of God, which every creature utilises for its being in the work of Creation
To strive for the good is therefore many times more blessed already in its very first flicker of volition than is precisely that cunning volition of something evil
That this happening has become something unknown to men on earth testifies only to the measure of the dominion of the tempter's principle, which has taken root in men so all too strongly that, in spite of that supporting and helping strengthening quality of the power of God which vibrates through everything, that volition and action remote from the good appears to earthly men as the seemingly easier way
But it is only here on earth, and also in the darkest planes of the ethereal, that now, in the time of the purifying working of the Ray of Parzival, the conviction still holds that the doing of all that is good is harder than the doing of evil
Only on this earth does it still live in men as an attunement of the volition of soul and of thought of men, permeated by the tempter's principle
Everywhere else, and also here on earth through the animistic, there already works in full efficacy that victorious vibration of the power of God which bears within it the message of the great Harmony descending from the source of the eternal divinely unsubstantiate radiation
It is therefore a great indictment that men have not yet recognised this, and above all that in their majority they have not yet joined it, for in this alone lies the finding of the right developmental path of life for everyone
But in this it is also possible to recognise something important, which bears within it the promise of a true building up of human society here on earth
It is the lasting promise of a noble development of life on earth, for everything can be raised in this spirit of the inflowing powers of Harmony to a higher ideal of humanity
Therein lies also the key to the recognition of the fact that here on earth too there prevail lawful manifestations of the good, which are lastingly around men, waiting only for men to recognise them
The good is everywhere on earth wherever the eye of man looks… that is, if today he does not expect always to find this good also in men, who alas are in this as yet in many respects lastingly insufficient and erring
Something such will come only with the complete spiritual enlightenment of mankind
Only then will the expectation of good in other men become a new certainty for everyone who shall be permitted to be born on earth
The Good, however, as the earthly reflection of the great Harmony of Creation, is here all around lastingly, and that in its ungraspable nature
It is today as yet outwardly invisible to the earthly perceiving of men, yet it nevertheless works with unflagging strengthening power
It works in silence for man in a thousand forms, and that not only in the world of nature, forms which the human eye, however, mostly overlooks in their effect, because it often takes these manifestations of good and harmony for granted and does not notice them until such time as they must, in consequence of the threads of fate, withdraw from his life and make room for pain and suffering
Men today all too often lament in advance that the Good, and thus God Himself, has forsaken them
It is also said that men are exposed to two powers, between which they must constantly choose
That they are unspeakably tempted in deciding either to serve good or to serve evil
This, however, is the greatest error of all philosophical schools
There are not two powers here, as many men confused by doctrines try to assert
There is not a power of good and, standing against it, a power of evil, but there is here from the beginning of all things only one single power of the Good and of Harmony, proceeding from God the Father out of His unsubstantiate origin of eternal Life
There is only one point of origin of all Life – God
And men can take refuge in Him and draw near to Him at every moment of their being, for they are connected with Him through the power lastingly flowing from Him
It is something almost incomprehensible how many of those men who consider themselves educated and knowledgeable in many fields of human science stubbornly reject something so simple and natural as the essence of the Good working everywhere in the work of Creation
It is after all a Lawful happening that everything is led and influenced in the direction of balance, of Harmony and of the Good
Man, as an inhabitant of the work of Creation, can always inwardly sense that the fundamental meaning of his whole being lies in the ardent, pure participation in co-shaping Harmony, in which alone is found the promise of the right direction, and thus also of a development hastening towards eternal duration
In like manner therein lies the promise of an inexhaustibility in finding new forms of good and of nobility for all
The earth is surrounded by the Good, which is here for all to utilise in deeds for other men
The Good enters into the close nearness of everyone in order to convey to him the power to withstand the wavering of the confused state of mankind which temporarily still prevails
The more men accept the Good as the natural foundation for their being, the sooner will the state of enlightenment come for all who may be on this earth
Light and Harmony are now strengthened by the nearness of the Ray of Parzival
Seek them, O man, in your daily life, and you will find peace, happiness, healing and a way out in a new recognition of your path
