A Happening Which Cannot Be Halted

In all the events which are showing themselves at this time we can see the effects of the Aether, which under the pressure of the radiation of the Ray of Parzival, as the outermost degree of the higher powers in Creation that are situated above gross matter, is flowing into the threads of experiencing of the human world in order to bring fundamental changes into it

This inflowing of the Aether into the gross material plane will increase still further

Through this everything will accelerate irresistibly

Both High servants of Valhalla, Hathmes and Hermetes, work untiringly at the fulfilment of the task assigned to them by Parzival

It cannot be halted by any human endeavours, or even only deflected aside, so that it would not strike those whom it must strike

Such a thing is not within the power of the human world

Only one thing is possible – to accept it as a part of the developmental shift of all life on Earth and to use it for one's own advance in the maturity of the inner being

To accept it and inwardly to strive to find concord with the Harmony of God fulfilling itself in all this is now the demand upon all life on Earth

In the world of men, however, the approaching happening will first bring predominantly the collapse of all the hitherto existing untruths and distortions settled in their views of life and their attitudes towards it

First there will come the tearing down of the ramparts within which all human material narrowness has entrenched itself

Through this the way will be freed for the great spiritual enlightenment

The inflowing of the Aether takes place under the hands of the Alphar, who have beside them also whole hosts of animistic servants of Valhalla, who have drawn near in order to be of help in so great an amount of work as is contained in the change mentioned

The inflowing of the Aether has in the last years been taking place for the Earth in a measure never known before

In everything that moves, that is, in everything that expresses movement, a pressure is increasing which threatens to grow into an unbridled whirling movement

And because the human world must move on the inner plane of intuitive perceptions, of feelings and also on the plane of thinking, as well as finally of all outward action, it is precisely men who are exposed to that pressure in these moments of their existence

They are feverishly driven to advance further in their maturity

Therein lies an immense blessing, if there is in man a permanently blazing, living will for change

If the inner being is open in the longing to recognise the true nature of things, then precisely the coming happening brings him unprecedented conditions for accelerated progress forward

Everything can be recognised down to the smallest parts of which the great work of Creation is composed

There are no secrets and no inexplicable mysteries

One is to penetrate boldly forward, provided of course that the spiritual spark is prepared for all this in wakeful readiness

If this is fulfilled, then such a man can today, quite freely, unrestricted by thought-forms from the past, hasten towards new knowledge

This brings the possibility of an unprecedented ascent in the comprehension of connections which until recently still appeared to many men as unattainable

Gradually it is being shown that all this can be attained

Receptivity for all the higher happenings which need to be joined to earthly experiencing brings man nearer to comprehending the wholeness of the Truth

This, however, takes place only where man is truly inwardly mobile in his searching and bears within him a childlike inquisitiveness for discovering what is new

Everything is thus connected with the spiritual liveliness of man

Where there is no movement of an active spiritual kind, precisely all the rest is driven into a wild whirl, in which is found the superficial, inferior and secondary thinking of men, that is, all that which is revealing itself ever more clearly as a sludge of thoughts which holds back pure human life in its healthy development

Therefore we can behold how violently the whole happening of the human social world is being shaken

It is being shaken precisely by that which stands outside the vibrations which bring new, ennobling conditions into the world-part of Ephesus

The old established notions crumble like weathered bedrock that can no longer hold

This whole happening is fulfilled in obedience to the great Law of Movement, which predetermines for all forms the necessity of their transformation

Over everything there extends the great goal which belongs to the whole work of Creation – the attainment of all-present Harmony

Harmony is appointed by the Creator for the work of Creation as a golden blessing for all life

Only in Harmony lie healing and the finding of a balanced existence

This goal lies in absolutely all the parts of the great whole of Creation

Such a state endures in the spiritual worlds, where Harmony is a natural part of all the working of spirits and of beings, and where therefore there need be no stages of development, as is the case with the materialities

In the First Creation there dwells a permanent state of blissful Harmony

Everywhere lower down, that is, in the parts of the Subsequent Creation, where necessary development is a part of life, there Harmony is attained gradually under the ever-intensifying pressure of the Light

This takes place through individual epochs which may be called the revolutionary stretches of history

In these revolutionary stretches much takes place at an accelerated pace, just as when the current rises in an otherwise more calmly flowing watercourse

This may also be compared to the letting of a new driving force into the machinery of a steam engine

And of this we are witnesses at this very time here on Earth too

The pressure which has intensified, and which shows itself as the streaming of the irresistible advance of the creating as well as the demolishing power, is strengthened to an unprecedented degree by the beneficent, purifying presence of the Ray of Parzival in this part of the universe

Everything is hastening towards the fulfilment of the archetype of the great Harmony, which is once again to move on by a further stage of development and thereby at last to come into effect in the earthly world as well

The men who are on Earth are a part of this, whether they rejoice at it or rail against it

Their souls knew well that they were coming to Earth at a time of fundamental changes

They were also prepared for it by their spiritual helpers

It therefore rests only with the individual man whether he becomes aware of it now as well, when he is participating in everything through the experiencing of his earthly covering

If he takes it into his hands in the right way, it will be only to his benefit

He can gain in it an enormous endowment through knowledge which would otherwise come to him gradually in many individual stages of development

Indeed, through a fervent awakening of the spiritual spark he can even reach in it the summit of his development, so that when he departs from this earthly part of his wandering he may be lifted up high to the places where the spiritual home is quite near

He can attain such an ascent that after he departs from the earthly world he will be permitted to find himself in his soul body almost within sight of home in the Luminous planes of the First Creation

His inner being will be filled with a refreshing inner wholeness, which comes precisely to those who have attained a high degree of spiritual maturity

The happening which is now being fulfilled offers him in this an unprecedented help towards inner ascent

Let it therefore be made use of by the greatest possible host of awakened men

Every single day is to be fully turned to account in this direction for the widening of new horizons of the spirit

It is nothing impossible, indeed on the contrary everything in the universe provides the very best conditions for it

These conditions have never yet been here in such a measure and so amply provided for all the degrees of maturity of men, as many as there are

At the same time, therefore, no one can excuse himself by saying that his kind of comprehension and his way of mastering the work of thinking set him aside, that he is thereby pushed into the background and can therefore claim that the time of the great spiritual enlightenment is not for him

This time of great changes is for all men

In it is included everything needful for those who are furthest ahead as well as for those who are still lagging behind

Never before have there been on Earth so many evident and clear answers to all the questions concerning human existence

Everything, the great as well as the smallest, can be answered, provided the ground is prepared for it in the inner being of man

The happening in the planes above gross matter always prepares ever new channels for the diverse powers of comprehension of men

On the side of man's earthly comprehension it is thus needful only to free oneself from the dogmatic rigid forms which appear ever more outlived

Here is the most important moment for this liberation

At last everything of the old past is to be left behind by man

And this old shall, as a help to men, collapse more and more under the effect of the Aether

No one, however, is to fear this

That which is collapsing is a liberation for the inner stepping forward

The old is heading into the eternal past, which will never again have the right to return to this Earth

Never again will there come a repetition of former times, for which here and there dreamers still yearn today, leaning upon traditions formed out of earlier stages of the recognition of men

The direction which now goes unstoppably forward towards the future new age can never grow out of the old fields of thought, however helpful these were in their time

They were, however, stages given for a maturity of the spirit which now needs to be surmounted, so that it may open itself to the inflow of entirely new knowledge

In the old volition, even though perhaps well meant in its foundation, there dwells much incorrect recognition, which rested upon earlier stages of the development of the comprehension of men

But that which perhaps formerly held up the edifice that appeared sufficient for the calm life of those who now yearn again for this edifice will not stand firm in the new kind of radiation which flows to the Earth through the surging Aether

It is only a lingering on the path which, under the pressure of the happening, leads upward

It cannot be halted, nor even only postponed

All notions longing for the shaping of earlier forms of human dependence upon rulers, that is, upon a hierarchy built on force and power, which we find in all the earlier forms of the living together of men on Earth, are erroneous

With a few isolated exceptions, the rulers of former times built their influence to a great extent upon the lack of independence and the immaturity of the multitudes, who for them were groups dragged along through life, for in reality they did not wish to lead them, but predominantly only to rule them

Until now it was predominantly only power and force that reigned in the ordering of society, subjugating all that was weaker instead of being a helping support for this weaker

We can see this in the whole of the surveyable history of mankind

If we except a few brief periods of enlightened rulers, it was always the same

The hierarchies of human society were ordered out of the will to power and to the domination of others

At the moment when kind and healthy help to the weaker were exercised, it would no longer be a matter of exercising power and force, but we would speak of a noble form of strengthening one's neighbours

The helping form would lead step by step to the independence and maturity of individuals, for such is the Will of God

It would quickly bring an inner flowering of mankind, which would then show itself as a blessing in all the spheres of human existence

Until now, however, only the craving for power is exercised on Earth

It was the driving motive of those who created the conditions of life on this Earth

It led to the subjection of millions

It always tended towards the unfreedom and dull dependence of whole peoples

Such was the principle of the old forms of living on Earth, which many look upon as something better than the present, and this in the supposition that a return is the best thing that can bring, as against today, an improvement of the world for men on Earth

Nothing, however, can return any more so as to be the same as in times long past

It is an unhealthy dreaming, denying the necessity of development

From the standpoint of the natural development of each individual man, which tends towards a complete independence of his own, it is a deceiving of those who are dissatisfied today, if they assert that a return to the past is the solution for today's desperate state

The calling for ancient times is an endeavour to go against the direction of development

All this needs to be pushed away into the past

No one can any longer excuse himself by his own lack of independence, for everything he needs for his development can be answered for him, and that in a way entirely comprehensible to him, which he will be best able to receive

They are thus really only excuses for something which no longer holds good

Independence of the spirit in its penetrating forward, in all the stages of knowledge in the work of Creation, is the condition for concord with that which is coming in the form of the great spiritual enlightenment

That is the new which is rolling towards the Earth in the waves of the Aether, and which precisely must in the end wash away all that is secondary, superficial and thereby inferior

Human life is to become a concept full of sublimity and reverence

Thus it will no longer be possible for mankind to remain further in its hitherto existing ways of thinking and acting, in which there shows itself the complete lack of independence of the majority, which is led through life on the bit of superficial likings and of all the base things that move its feelings and instincts

Everything needs to be ennobled, lifted higher to the stage of awakened recognition, which pursues the high spiritual goal that has from time immemorial been laid within the spiritual inner being of every man

Therefore it is not possible to remain in what now exists, nor in any case to return to the past, which has been irretrievably washed away by the working of Hathmes and Hermetes in the space and time of gross materiality

In everything there lies the necessity of an advance forward that brooks no delay, for only in this pressure lies the subconscious comprehension of the most fundamental form of the self-preservation of the spirit

Development is undergone at every moment and needs only to become more conscious, so that it can unite with knowledge of a higher kind about all the Laws working in the human wandering through the Subsequent Creation

He who views this rightly can now be beneficently borne by the high streams of knowledge about Creation which are to be found in close proximity to the Earth, and thus also to all the men dwelling on Earth

At every moment, too, connection can be attained with the spiritual as well as the animistic helpers who are here in order to help

Their loving guidance may appear strict, because it demands movement of the spirit, but precisely therein lies the most effective help for everyone

It is the direction, working from time immemorial, towards a higher manifestation of Harmony in the Subsequent Creation

Here, in the distant planes of the Subsequent Creation, all life works its way towards Harmony solely through a development tending forward

It is therefore an inexorable demand of the streaming Aether that what exists and what is past be abandoned, for that no longer holds good for what is in the coming part of the new world

Everything needs to be put to the test as to whether it is not the work of dogmatic views which lie so deeply and so covertly hidden in man that they prevent even the slightest advance forward

And this concerns truly everything that men know and that they use

Without striving for an inner advance forward it will not be possible to break free from the merry-go-round of mantras, ground over and over again, about the thankless world here and human life in it, where the greater part of it all is only apprehension, fear, mistrust and endless complaints about others

Without breaking free from this attunement of thinking no progress is possible

The empty place formed by men letting go of all the thought-forms filled with gloomy foreboding when looking in the direction of the future will then make it possible to receive and to experience the state of complete trust in the All-Wisdom of God, which through countless kinds of servants is always near to mankind

And because the greatest part of men, even those who have a higher knowledge of the Truth, remain in the old way of thinking, in which they expect only what is bad in the further development on Earth, we can deduce from this that the first tremors will touch truly almost all men

The reason is not that the Will of God wills it so, or that it is a fulfilment of happenings on the basis of the arbitrariness of the animistic servants, but it will come about precisely as a necessary consequence of the Law of the Attraction of Homogeneous Species

He who expects bad happenings in the future, to him such happenings will in the end come

He, then, who spins in his thoughts that everything is going along bad paths and that evil is victorious forms a channel through which evil in some form will actually reach him

If difficulties arrive in life, and indeed of any kind, the reason for this is the mistrust in man towards the protection of God and towards the help which always has a way to improvement prepared for him, provided he calls it to himself through childlike trust

Mistrust, on the contrary, has an effect which we may liken to the closing and locking of the door to all helping happening from the Light

Precisely in this lies that new which is to become the first thing to come in man among all the changes, as a trustful certainty in the All-Wisdom of God that nothing can take away

Upon this initial condition the building of the great spiritual enlightenment can then take shape

And yet precisely this enlightenment is coming, regardless of the readiness or unreadiness of men

It is here and is working every second at the developmental shift in everything that concerns this part of the Subsequent Creation

The direction towards Harmony has been given from the beginning

Only we move on the stages towards attaining it, always by a certain portion which the maturity of the materialities and of the human spiritual dwelling in the materialities makes possible

We can thus make enormous progress in ascent

Through this absolutely everything will be uplifted, and entirely new possibilities will open for all life

He who at this moment wavers and shows his mistrust makes the way harder not only for himself but in part also for all the other life, which depends on the uplifting of the human race higher towards the Light

The knowledge of the great changes and of the possibilities lying within them should therefore be a spur to a great rebirth, to the complete spiritual awakening of the greatest possible number of men on Earth
